The Bay is surrounded on three sides by steep, forested hills. The inland portion of the bay forms a hurricane hole, used to shelter boats from hurricanes. It was here that the French Navy hid from the British.
The Marina in Marigot Bay attracts the largest super-yachts from around the world. The bay is lined with exotic palm trees and lush gardens and filled with the deep turquoise of the Caribbean Sea. It is a spectacular sight.
