Coco Palm is located at Rodney Bay Village in the Gros Islet quarter of St Lucia. It has 83 Coco Palm rooms in the four-story Palm Building, plus 20 Kreole rooms on two floors (located in a different block closer to Rodney Bay Village).

Things to do near to the Coco Palm Resort

 

The Coco Palm Resort is about 6 miles (10km) north of Castries, in Rodney Bay. The vast horseshoe of Rodney Bay boasts the island’s most diverse tourist facilities. Within the bay is a large, artificial lagoon and marina, flanked by Rodney Bay Village with its bars, restaurants, shops and more.

 

The Coco Palm is an ideal base because it has access to so many local activities.  Rodney Bay is St Lucia’s entertainment centre.  The island's two largest shopping malls and the Treasure Bay Casino are here. 

 

We also know it for a variety of food served at the restaurants and cafes. Two great ethnic restaurants come to mind in the Spice of India, and La Terrasse. 

 

Reduit Beach Ave (The Strip), is a strip of nightclubs and restaurants that are a popular with visitors and residents. Tourists can visit spas and therapists for yoga, reflexology and Ayurvedic massages.

 

They display a gallery with works from artists and craftspeople at the Island Mix Art Emporium. There is a Zoo with St Lucia’s national bird and a trail through the rainforest.

Every Friday night, the fishing village of Gros Islet lays on a good street party. This event is well known throughout the island. The atmosphere is good-natured with residents and visitors alike mingling among food stalls that sell BBQ fish and chicken, whelks and crabmeat, and some good rums and beers. DJs play calypso, zouk, reggae, and R&B through big loudspeakers and local exhibitionists strut their stuff.

20 Kreole Standard Rooms - In a separate block in the grounds of Coco Palm, Kreole rooms are closer to Rodney Bay Village. As it is in an older building, the standard and layout differs from Coco Palm rooms. But all the amenities and facilities are the same as the main building, and guests have full access to the pool and all other facilities.

 

The Kreole Rooms are the lead in price rooms in the heart of the village. Kreole rooms are furnished with either 1 king bed sleeping up 2 adults or 2 double beds sleeping 2 adults & 2 children under 12 years, or 3 adults.
