Mango Bay Barbados - for the best of Barbados all-inclusive holidays!

The stunning setting for Mango Bay Barbados

Barbados is a pearl in the necklace of the Caribbean Islands. A place where the blue waters of the Caribbean lap fine sandy beaches, and cricket is a national pastime. This distinctive island has a twin birthright.

In Barbados, the English language and stone-built Anglican churches bear witness to a Colonial history. But she is comfortable with the music and dance that reveals her African heritage.

You will find a historic capital, old sugar plantations, and rum! Close your eyes and think of Barbados. Can you feel the sun on your face? Can you hear the swaying palms and calypso rhythms swaying in the breeze?

The best thing about Barbados

But the best facet of this Caribbean gem is the Bajan people with smiles as big as a sunny day. It is said that Barbados is 21 smiles long and 14 smiles wide!

Mango Bay Resort

Barbados holidays don’t come much better than the Mango Bay Barbados with an all-inclusive package.

The resort borders the warm turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. Mango Bay Barbados is a stunning beachfront, all-inclusive resort. Yet, it is within an easy walk of the many restaurants and nightlife of Holetown.

Mango Bay Resort is a relaxing oasis. Families can spend quality time here. And the comprehensive wedding packages mean lovers can be alone in their own haven.

The Mango Bay Resort describes itself asuncomplicated, unencumbered and unforgettable”. Who can blame their use of superlatives? We could transcribe that as “easy, honest, and memorable!” This friendly and welcoming hotel will stay etched in your memory long after your holiday has ended.

Perfect location for an all-inclusive Barbados holiday

Mango Bay is set on the edge of the historic Holetown area on the celebrated Gold Coast of Barbados, right on the beachfront overlooking the Caribbean.

Mango Bay is perfect for those looking for the ease of an all-inclusive beach holiday coupled with the personal and friendly service of a small resort.

The restaurants, bars, and boutiques of fashionable Holetown St. James, along with the Limegrove Lifestyle Centre with its fashion, film, food, and events just a short walk away.

You’ll be captivated by the warmth of your welcome and by the natural charms of the island.

Welcome to Mango Bay Barbados!

Weddings at Mango Bay

Mango Bay is among the best wedding venues in Barbados. It is very easy to get married in Barbados, with no waiting period, or minimum length of stay required. The couple must apply in person for a marriage licence, at the Ministry of Home Affairs. This is located in Wildey, St Michael, a 40-minute drive from the hotel.

Documents Required:

Valid passports or the original or certified copies of the applicant’s birth certificates.

If either party was previously married and widowed, a certified copy of the deceased death certificate.

If either party was divorced, an original Decree Absolute or a certified copy of the Final Judgment, not the Decree Nisi.

For Jewish weddings, the couple must bring their own Rabbi, as there are none on the island.

All documents should be in English, or a certified translation.

If neither party is a citizen or resident of Barbados - arrangements should be made with a local Minister of Religion, or a Magistrate, prior to the completion of an application form for a license (included in the hotel’s wedding package).

A marriage can be solemnised immediately after the issue of the License.

Holetown was the site of the first British landing in Barbados in 1625 and the first settlement by the British two years later. The Holetown Monument commemorates the 1625 landing.

The town was originally called Jamestown after King James I.

It is said that the English seamen named the area Holetown because the river that empties into the sea here reminded them of the Limehouse Hole on the River Thames.

Take a stroll along the boardwalk to enjoy fresh sea breezes, gorgeous tropical beaches and amazing sunsets. Tranquil sea conditions at Holetown Beach make it the perfect spot for sea-bathing, swimming, and kayaking.

Each February, this town hosts the Holetown Festival, a colourful local festival of crafts, music, and historical parades!

First and Second streets in Holetown are the places to party in Holetown, especially Friday to Sunday. Dance the night away, savour creative cocktails, and show off your singing skills at a karaoke session! Here you’ll also enjoy dining at a wide variety of excellent restaurants with cuisine ranging from local & Caribbean to Italian.

For beachfront dining in Holetown head to Tides, Zaccios, Surfside or The Beach House.
