Pineapple Beach Club Accommodation
The resort offers 180 guest rooms in 7 categories including Pool Terrace, Gardenview, Oceanview, Premium Oceanview, Beachfront, Waterfront and the Chairman’s Suite. Accommodation includes a private balcony or patio, with some rooms featuring shared verandas.
All guest rooms feature: air-conditioning; king, queen or 2 double beds; ceiling fan; cable TV; telephone; coffee maker/tea kettle; mini refrigerator; bathroom with shower and/or tub; hair-dryer; iron & ironing board; and in-room safe.
Chairman’s Suite
The Chairman’s Suite is perched at the top of the resort, with panoramic views over the main pool, beach, and ocean. This one-bedroom duplex suite boasts contemporary yet tropical décor, three balconies, and all the modern comforts of home.
The main level features a seating area with a couch and two armchairs, complete with a bar stocked with water, beer, wine and juice for your arrival. There is also a 52″ flat screen TV and a dining room which seats four.
This level has a double balcony, featuring chairs and a table, and two sun loungers. A set of steps take you up into the luxurious bedroom, with a King-size bed, another 52″ flat screen TV, and a comfortable chaise lounge.
The en-suite bathroom features a double vanity with two sinks, a double shower, and a two-person romantic soaking tub tucked into an alcove with louvered windows that open out and allow you to relax while looking over the sea.
The third balcony is off the bedroom and features amazing views and cool breezes. Max Occupancy: 2 adults | 1,000 sq. ft
Waterfront Room
The two-story building has one-bedroom. Waterside rooms are furnished with a king bed complete with rattan furnishings, and a 32-inch flat screen TV. Rooms and bathrooms have been renovated.
Rooms have showers only. All rooms on the first and second floors feature large private patios or balconies with a spectacular view of the ocean and Long Bay beach. Max Occupancy: 2 adults | 310 sq. ft
Beachfront Rooms
The Beachfront Rooms are two-story buildings, featuring one-bedroom rooms next to the beach. These rooms have 1 King bed or 2 Double beds with rattan furnishings and a 32-inch flat screen TV.
The renovated bathrooms feature a shower/tub combination. The ground-floor rooms have private patios and the 2nd-floor rooms have a common balcony. Max Occupancy: 3 adults | 375 sq. ft
Premium Oceanview Rooms
These single-story hillside rooms are refurbished and offer king-size beds draped in vibrant colours and mahogany or rattan furnishings. These rooms also feature flat-screen TVs, a separate vanity area, bathrooms with shower/tub combos, and private, furnished balconies which have panoramic views of the ocean, main pool, and beach. Oceanview Rooms
These hillside rooms, located in four three-story buildings, are the largest rooms offering King-sized beds. The rooms are draped with vibrant tints and mahogany or rattan furnishings, separate vanity area, and private patios or balconies which overlook the ocean. Gardenview Rooms
These rooms are located in two two-story buildings, surrounded by lovely tropical gardens. They offer 1 King bed or 2 Double beds, with rattan furnishings and a 32-inch flat screen TV. Pool Terrace Rooms
These refurbished rooms are located in two-story buildings centred on a courtyard featuring a brand-new freshwater pool and the Tickled Turtle Bar. Rooms are furnished with king or queen bed, complete with rattan furnishings, grey wood plank flooring, and a 32-inch flat screen TV.
Rooms and bathrooms have been renovated. Bathrooms feature walk-in showers. All rooms feature large private patios or balconies. Max Occupancy: 2 adults | 300-325 sq. ft

Passports
Passports are required. Your passport should be valid at least six months past the date of departure from Antigua. For information on UK passports, visit the HM Passport Office
Tips/Gratuities
Standard gratuity is 10-15% depending on the service. A good guide is 50 cents per bag for porters and bellhops. Taxi drivers 10-15% of the fare. Tipping at the resort is graciously accepted, but not required.
Credit Cards
They do not accept American Express cards for local payments at Pineapple Beach Club Antigua. Use Visa, MasterCard, and Discover cards.
Dress Code
Elegantly casual. Beach attire is appropriate for the beach but not the town, shops or restaurants. Some restaurants stipulate jackets and ties for men and dresses for women in the evening.
Time Zone
Antigua is in the Atlantic Standard Time zone. Atlantic Standard Time is four hours behind GMT.
Currency
The official currency of Antigua is the Eastern Caribbean dollar is fixed to the US dollar. A recent exchange rate was US$1.00 = EC$2.70. US currency, travellers cheques and major credit cards are welcome everywhere.
Medical Facilities
There are several general practitioners and specialists on the island and a hospital and a private clinic. They require no vaccinations unless the visitor is arriving from an endemic area. Recompression chambers are available by air ambulance at nearby Saba and in St. Thomas. Pharmaceutical services are widely available.

Cash Point/ATM
No machine at the resort. The nearest ATM is a 30-minute drive away at English Harbour which takes Visa cards.
Personal Safety
Antigua is relatively crime free, but exercise normal precautions; i.e. don’t leave valuables unattended in rental cars or on the beach. Place your valuables and travel documents in your room safe. Keep your guest room doors and windows locked, especially at night and when you are not in the room.
Electricity
The voltage at the resort is 110v as in the US. Guestrooms are equipped with an American-style 2-prong plug.
If travelling from the UK, which runs on 240v, you will need a converter and adaptor if you are bringing appliances from home.
But, check the label on your appliance. If the label states 'INPUT: 100-240V, 50/60 Hz' the appliance can be used in all countries in the world. This is common for chargers of tablets/laptops, photo cameras, mobile phones, toothbrushes, etc.
Departure Tax & Service Charges
They include the departure tax in the price of your airfare ticket. They include service fees in your nightly rate.
Accessibility for those with disabilities
Modified disabled rooms, such as you may find in the UK, are not available. Ground-floor rooms are available. But, some areas, services, restaurants and facilities at the resort may not be accessible to disabled people or people with mobility issues.
